The number one reason employees feel dissatisfied with their job is their relationship with their immediate supervisor. The ability to effectively coach and develop employees is a major determinant of leadership success. This session will target specific skills, behaviors, and attitudes necessary for successful performance coaching. Participants will learn how to define and clarify expectations, give and receive feedback, and take team members to the next level of success.

Key areas of focus:

  1. Identify the importance of effective coaching and feedback
  2. Tap into the unique strengths and motivators of others
  3. Set and communicate clear expectations
  4. Utilize effective performance feedback, coaching and counseling techniques
  5. Implement the 8-step coaching model

Please note that CAE exam and renewal applicants can only use a maximum of 50% of their application hours from self-study programs.
